I sell a range of eco products that I also use myself as an independent distributor for Wikaniko (We Can Eco).
Ah, there’s the catch eh? I’m just trying to flog stuff!
Not really. I stumbled upon the company whilst surfing the web looking for something completely different (always the way) and the ideology really resonated with me.
Simple as that.
The most innovative and creative eco friendly business in the UK today
It obviously helps me in my tiny little eco-quest to be part of a bigger something, receiving support and encouragement from like-minded environmentally conscious people.
It’s also rather nice to get lovely eco friendly green products at wholesale prices.
Volunteers, not conscripts
At Wikaniko, ‘green’ is not rammed down your throat at every opportunity, just to scare or guilt you into buying something.
Instead, through a process of education, the supply of information, and explanation, the team hope to help people to improve their outlook with regard to the environment.
The guys behind Wikaniko felt that people would like to be a little more environmentally friendly, but the very thought of changing habits, products, lifestyle, etc, is a bit like trying to climb a mountain in your bare feet, and without a compass to guide you.
My thoughts exactly.
An incredible green journey
The Wikaniko site is a gateway to a myriad of resources, articles, tips, ideas, games, etc. All designed to help you to reduce your footprint on the world, and reduce your spending as you go greener.
So I’ve signed up to go greener, little by little, and over a period of time. Over the next few years I believe I will have personally made enough changes to my ways to help make a massive difference to the environment.
It needn’t cost the earth to go ‘green’ but it will literally cost us the earth if we don’t
